Who We Are

The University of Michigan Triathlon Club is a student-run organization focused on promoting the multi sport lifestyle at the collegiate level. As a member of the Mideast Collegiate Triathlon Conference, the club works to identify and cultivate triathletes who have the potential to excel in representing the University of Michigan at the collegiate, regional, and national events.

  • 2017 Women's and Men's MECTC individual champions Zena Lapp and Matt Schafer!

  • 2017 Purdue Individual Champions Ruta Raulickis and Troy Dean!

  • 2016 Women's and Men's MECTC individual champions Darby Middlebrook and Matt Schafer!

  • 1st in Big Ten Conference at USA Triathlon Collegiate National Championships 2018

  • 2nd in Big Ten Conference at USA Triathlon Collegiate National Championships 2017

  • 2nd in Big Ten Conference at USA Triathlon Collegiate National Championships 2016

Who Can Join

Whether you're just starting triathlons or a seasoned veteran, you're welcome on MTriathlon. We cater to all abilities and sporting backgrounds.  

 

 

 

 

Do I need a bike to join? -- No, we can lend you one of ours!

Not a strong swimmer? -- No Problem!  We have an excellent swim coach!

I've never raced before. -- Great!  We'll make your first triathlon an awesome experience!
